My name is Jesus Roberto Felix, but I simply go as Beto Felix. I have been with the Richmond Sol since 2006. I first started off playing with the recreational AYSO team and then later transitioned to the competitive Cobras 98 team. My entire soccer life with Richmond Sol has been very positive. Over the years, Richmond Sol taught almost everything I know about the sport, but it has taught me even more important lessons on commitment, responsibility, and character, which I implement into my everyday life. Without a doubt, playing soccer for so many years has filled my mind with unforgettable memories, but the one I will forget was when a couple of players from the league were selected to be Ball Boys for a SJ Earthquakes v Chicago Fire game in San Jose. This was a great memory because we were able to interact with professional players and have a big responsibility through that game. What made it even more memorable was that my shoes were autographed by Mexican legend, Cuauhtémoc Blanco. Additionally, I am now an assistant coach for the Cobras 07 team. Although I do not get paid to be there, I am there because I love to play the sport and because I like to help out my community in ways applicable to me. I've been with Richmond Sol since my elementary days, but now as senior in high school, I will move onto higher education next year. Next fall I will be attending UC Berkeley. I have many people and entities to thank for helping me getting in to UC Berkeley, Richmond Sol being one of them because they instilled positive character traits in me that I have used until now and hope to continue using later in life.
